Restoration Part Source (RPS) - Shipping Information and Shipping Options
RPS offers thousands of different products of different shapes and sizes.
In order to best serve our customers, RPS offers two different types of shipping options.
When checking-out of the shopping cart with your purchases please be aware of the following two shipping options.
Option 1) 'Ground'
Ground shipping uses conventional ground based shipping services such as Fed Ex or UPS. Ground shipping is intended for small to mid-sized items
and it is NOT intended for larger sheet metal items, such as fenders, doors, hoods, etc.
Option 2) 'Sheet Metal - Heavy Items [Truck]' Truck based shipping uses specific trucking services based on the size, shape and weight of the items ordered. Truck based shipping IS intended for larger sheet metal items, such as fenders, doors, hoods, etc.
- If you are ONLY purchasing small and mid-sized items, please select the 'Ground' option.
- If you are ONLY purchasing large, heavy items please select the 'Sheet Metal - Heavy Items [Truck]' option.
- If you are purchasing BOTH small, mid-sized and large, heavy items please select the 'Sheet Metal - Heavy Items [Truck]' option and all of your items will be shipped together.
- If you are purchasing BOTH small, mid-sized and large, heavy items you could also consider making two separate purchases. One using 'Ground' for small and mid-sized items and another using 'Sheet Metal - Heavy Items [Truck]' for large and heavy items.
RPS offers these two different shipping options to keep shipping cost in-line with the type of items our customers order and to keep shipping costs to a minimum for our customers.
Please also select the proper Tax Rate, based on your location. 'Out-of-State' (other than CA), 'In-State' (in CA) or 'Local' (in Alameda County, CA)
Your RPS order will be reviewed before it is shipped and if, for some reason, you have not selected the proper shipping and or tax types you will be contacted to resolve the shipping and tax amounts.
