Seinfeld laments AMC Gremlin with hilarious Jon Stewart

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Jon Stewart

A good comedian can rifle off a one-liner when put in the right situation. A great comedian, though, can fire off zingers in any situation. That much is obvious from the start of the latest episode of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

The quips begin essentially from the start, with Seinfeld introducing today's featured car as a competitor to the Ford Pinto and Chevy Vega, a pair of cars he calls "horrible." The competitor, though, "was even more horrible." Yes, we're talking about the AMC Gremlin.

Why the Gremlin, though? A car that is accepted as one of the single biggest four-wheeled abominations in the long, sad history of four-wheeled abominations? Well, it just happened to be the first car of guest Jon Stewart, of The Daily Show fame. With Stewart in tow, the one-liners really get going. Calling the Gremlin "contraception" for New Jersey's young men in the 1970s and a car for the "broke ignorant", the pair's tour around Manhattan in the dreadful hatchback is cut short by something a bit more suited to the tastes of CICGC fans.

Scroll down for the full video, and enjoy the latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee Season 4 Trailer reveals more classics

Comedians in cars getting coffee promo

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is one of our favorite online video series thanks to its ability to combine funny people and some fantastic classic and quirky cars. Thankfully, the wait for the next season to begin is quite short with its return on June 19. We've already seen the preview teaser for the new episodes, and Jerry Seinfeld and friends have just released an extended trailer revealing even more of the classic - or in some cases, just odd - metal to be showcased.

Like the teaser, we get glimpses of comedians Jon Stewart, George Wallace, Aziz Ansari, Robert Klein and Sarah Jessica Parker taking a drive for a cup of java. But the best part is that it also shows even more of the cars featured this time around. In addition to a Buick Riviera and a Jaguar Mark II, Parker is in a Ford LTD station wagon and Stewart gets both an AMC Gremlin (pictured above) and an AMX. If the glimpse here is correct, though, Ansari's vehicle might be the weirdest yet.

Based the quality of the past three seasons, we are definitely eagerly anticipating the start of the fourth. Scroll down to watch the new trailer.

Trailer for the newest series of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

A brand new season of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee on the way - it will involve Seinfeld and comedian Robert Klein going to Sing Sing Correctional Facility in what appears to be a Jaguar Mark II - and the trailer is out now.

In addition to Klein there'll be appearances by Sarah Jessica Parker, George Wallace, Aziz Ansari and John Stewart. We don't get to see all the rides, but a Buick Riviera GS gets some airtime and the 1949 Porsche 356/2 Gmund from the segment with Jay Leno makes a cameo. The first episode airs on June 19, you can watch the trailer by scrolling down.

Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld’s passenger seat for CiCGC

Jerry Seinfeld and Howard Stern

We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.

This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.

Scroll below to hear Howard accuse Jerry of acting like Jesus, just before declaring himself the greatest radio personality in the history of the business.

Tina Fey sits down with Seinfeld for new CiCGC

Comedian Tina Fey rides with Jerry Seinfeld in an episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee

Recently Jerry Seinfeld went out for a videotaped cup of coffee with Jay Leno in a vintage Gmund Porsche. Switching coasts and cars, this time New York's own son returns to his city for a jaunt in a 1967 Volvo 1800S with fellow New Yorker Tina Fey for the latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

The trip takes them uptown to Cuban coffee shop Floridita in Harlem, then back downtown to a pastry shop. On the way, Jerry calls out a photo shoot for using a fake Porsche, and Fey admits she doesn't have a driver's license. Driving cars, she says, "is like Twitter to me." Which she also doesn't do - she lasted seven tweets in 2009.

You can check out the episode below as they go in search of coffee, the rare guanabana/soursop juice, Jerry's even more elusive product placement and the last Cronut in NYC.

Seinfeld says MGB makes world a fun place in latest CICGC

CICGC: 1966 MG MGB with Todd Barry

Jerry Seinfeld and his web series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, has released its latest installment, showcasing a gorgeous, red 1966 MG MGB Roadster and starring comedian Todd Barry. As Seinfeld prefaces at the start of the clip, Barry is a dry comedian, so don't expect the kind of laugh-out-loud moments of some other episodes of CICGC. That said, there's a lot of subtle humor in here, including the evils of oranges.

The car, meanwhile, is a beauty, and it represents Barry's first experience with a sports car, with Seinfeld explaining the merits of the little red two-seater. By the end, despite Barry being described as both mellow and tense, he does admit the he's having a great time with the little MG.

Have a look below for the latest episode of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee.

Leno, Seinfeld and a Porsche 356/2 featured in latest CICGC

Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno star in the latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee

In the latest kaffeeklatsch known as Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Jerry Seinfeld pulls Jay Leno out of his garage for a trip to Jones Coffee in Pasadena, CA. The NBC funnyman we've lately seen driving two guest Porsches in his eponymous garage this time takes the passenger seat in a 1949 Porsche 356/2, one of early all-aluminum, hand-built coupes - still in 100-percent original condition - built in Gmund, Austria and nicknamed "Gmunds."

The comedy veterans have known one another for 35 years, so the episode is rich with stories of The Good Old Days. Leno says it is also the first time he's ever had a cup of coffee, and for obvious comedic reasons they start with the civet-stained beans made famous in The Bucket List. You can watch Leno take his first sip below, and have you haven't heard the joke about the goat and the anvil, scroll on down for a listen to that and one or two more jokes besides.

Seinfeld picks up Patton Oswalt in a DeLorean for CiCGC

Jerry Seinfeld and Patton Oswalt in a DeLorean

The latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has hit the web, ladies and gentlemen, starring none other than the 1981 DeLorean DMC-12, Patton Oswalt and, of course, Jerry Seinfeld. They do, as the title suggests, get coffee. But first, they take a good, long look at the gull-winged vehicle, discussing its stainless-steel construction and its place in history as the most recognizable time machine ever (fake) created.

Sadly for Seinfeld and Oswalt, but good for us since it gives the comedic duo plenty of time to discuss the finer points of storytelling and the life and potential death of Superman, the DeLorean proves itself to be a wee bit... shall we say, unreliable. We suggest you watch the show for yourself, but first, we'll leave you with this thought to ponder: Beware Satan's Crowbar.

Scroll down to watch the video below and all will become clear.
