Jerry Seinfeld doesn’t love Sarah Jessica Parker’s new Country Squire in latest CiCGC

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has finally returned for its fourth season of combining Jerry Seinfeld, a miscellaneous celebrity and a cup of java. But rather than fondly remembering some older piece of automotive machinery, this time around, Seinfeld is utterly unable to keep his hatred of Sarah Jessica Parker's 1976 Ford LTD Country Squire from coming out to hilarious effect.

However, Parker has such a high level of infectious enthusiasm for her recently purchased Country Squire that she seems to win over Seinfeld by the end - at least a little bit. For most of their time together, the two of them drive around Manhattan and the suburbs waxing nostalgic about what things were like when these wagons were ubiquitous.

Since this is actually SJP's car, she and Seinfeld trade off driving duties, and the image above should give you some indication of Seinfeld's reaction to the Sex and the City star behind the wheel. It seems this '70s land yacht might be a little too much for her to handle in New York traffic. Regardless, she is absolutely in love with her Ford.

Head over to Crackle to view the latest episode for yourself. Normally, we'd just embed the video for you, but Crackle's code doesn't seem to be working...

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee Season 4 Trailer reveals more classics

Comedians in cars getting coffee promo

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is one of our favorite online video series thanks to its ability to combine funny people and some fantastic classic and quirky cars. Thankfully, the wait for the next season to begin is quite short with its return on June 19. We've already seen the preview teaser for the new episodes, and Jerry Seinfeld and friends have just released an extended trailer revealing even more of the classic - or in some cases, just odd - metal to be showcased.

Like the teaser, we get glimpses of comedians Jon Stewart, George Wallace, Aziz Ansari, Robert Klein and Sarah Jessica Parker taking a drive for a cup of java. But the best part is that it also shows even more of the cars featured this time around. In addition to a Buick Riviera and a Jaguar Mark II, Parker is in a Ford LTD station wagon and Stewart gets both an AMC Gremlin (pictured above) and an AMX. If the glimpse here is correct, though, Ansari's vehicle might be the weirdest yet.

Based the quality of the past three seasons, we are definitely eagerly anticipating the start of the fourth. Scroll down to watch the new trailer.

Seinfeld picks up Patton Oswalt in a DeLorean for CiCGC

Jerry Seinfeld and Patton Oswalt in a DeLorean

The latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has hit the web, ladies and gentlemen, starring none other than the 1981 DeLorean DMC-12, Patton Oswalt and, of course, Jerry Seinfeld. They do, as the title suggests, get coffee. But first, they take a good, long look at the gull-winged vehicle, discussing its stainless-steel construction and its place in history as the most recognizable time machine ever (fake) created.

Sadly for Seinfeld and Oswalt, but good for us since it gives the comedic duo plenty of time to discuss the finer points of storytelling and the life and potential death of Superman, the DeLorean proves itself to be a wee bit... shall we say, unreliable. We suggest you watch the show for yourself, but first, we'll leave you with this thought to ponder: Beware Satan's Crowbar.

Scroll down to watch the video below and all will become clear.

Seinfeld’s ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ gets season three trailer

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Season 3 Trailer

Season three of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is set to kick off next week, and sees the affable comedian trotting out a new stream of rare and classic cars with which to chauffeur a strong roster of very funny people in. There will be some coffee, too.

This two-minute trailer has a lot going for it, with Tina Fey, Howard Stern, Louis C.K., Patton Oswalt, Jay Leno and others getting screen time. While we're sure the conversation will be pretty darn funny, it's the array of cars Seinfeld has assembled for this season that leaves us most impressed. First and foremost, we have Seinfeld, Louis C.K. and a Fiat Jolly (sounds like the start of a bad joke). Tina Fey gets a Volvo P1800, while Howard Stern rides around in a Pontiac GTO Judge. There's also a classic MG and a Delorean making appearances this season.

Take a look at the entire trailer below, paying special note to the excellent multi-rotor-copter footage, and keep your eyes peeled for season three of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

Seinfeld takes Seth Meyers out in the perfect Porsche

The latest episode of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee features Seth Meyers of Saturday Night Live fame riding shotgun in what is a very special Porsche from host Jerry Seinfeld's collection: a 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7. Seinfeld chose the "no-nonsense" sports car because he thought it fit his guest's personality (Meyers thinks motorcycles "are like the cigarette of transportation"), but we enjoy the chance to see one of these rare, über-valuable Porsches being driven on city streets - and in the rain, no less! What we don't like seeing is the Carrera RS being parallel parked behind a pick-up truck, though, fortunately, it seems that Seinfeld was able to avoid any front-end damage to the comparatively fragile Porsche.

Once at the coffee shop, the two comedians have a candid conversation about Meyers' time with SNL, from his early days on the show when he didn't think he was good enough to be a cast member to some of the high points in his career, such as SNL's "Really!?" segment that he performed in and how he became a writer for the show.

After coffee, when they're back in the car and Seinfeld opens up the throttle of the lightweight RS 2.7, he manages to eke out a big grin from Meyers - or maybe it was a grimace at the thought of driving in the rain on old tires. Whatever the case, be sure to watch the video below (and stay tuned until the end for a surprise).

Acura rejoins with Seinfeld, sponsors Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee [w/videos]

Jerry Seinfeld Acura Super Bowl ad with NSX - screencap

We enjoyed the opening season of Seinfeld's offbeat Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee web series, a video serial where Jerry Seinfeld picked up his friends in some of his classic cars and... chatted. It was a simple premise that offered some genuinely enjoyable moments, even if the 'cars' connection was often a bit incidental. In any case, Acura must have felt the same way, as it has just inked a deal to be the sole sponsor for the series' next season.

Acura, you may recall, already enjoys a relationship with the comedian - Seinfeld starred in the company's 2012 Super Bowl ad alongside the NSX supercar concept. So perhaps it's no surprise that it has signed on to sponsor 24 episodes of the series, due to roll out this year and next. Naturally, with any title sponsorship these days, you can expect to see some integration of the sponsor - in this case, Acura says such measures will involve its new 2014 MDX crossover, integrating "short, contextually relevant ads at the beginning and end of the episode."

Will you watch? For a refresher on Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, check out a couple of our favorite first season episodes with Michael Richards and Alec Baldwin by scrolling below.

Seinfeld signs on for 24 more episodes of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee [w/video]

Jerry Seinfeld driving Alec Baldwin around for his Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee web series - video screencap

Jerry Seinfeld and his freeform buddy interview series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, have been picked up for another season. The legendary comic is perhaps best-known for his eponymous television show "about nothing," and his delightfully simple CICGC internet series of shorts isn't entirely dissimilar in spirit.

According to The New York Times, Seinfeld has agreed to put together 24 more episodes with his Sony partners. The initial series of 10 episodes ran last year and featured such comedians as Alec Baldwin (shown), Larry David, Ricky Gervais and Michael Richards milling about in one of Seinfeld's vintage cars and heading out for a cup of joe. Using that basic premise, the celebrities talked about the craft of comedy, told stories, jokes, and chatted about cars, if only a bit.

The next step is to try to figure out how the internet video series can turn a profit - "This next go-round we're going to have to figure out some sort of revenue stream, so it makes more sense," Seinfeld tells the NYT.

For a quick refresher on the series while you're waiting for new episodes to show up, check out a couple of our favorite episodes from the first season by scrolling below.

Seinfeld’s CiCGC pairs Alec Baldwin with 1970 Mercedes-Benz SL

Alec Baldwin (left) and Jerry Seinfeld (right) in Mercedes-Benz 280SL

For both comedy and car fans, Jerry Seinfeld and his "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" web series has been a car-filled, caffeine-fueled, laugh-fest. The trend continues in the two latest installments of his unusual unscripted series.

In the first video seen above, Jerry picks up actor Alec Baldwin in a Signal Red Mercedes-Benz 280SL Roadster. The two exchange anecdotes about their shared hometown of Massapequa, New York and of a Kirk Douglas-Burt Lancaster rivalry. Baldwin also considers his mortality and calls Seinfeld a "lazy, shiftless bastard." Baldwin also decrees that he is the most articulate person in the Screen Actors Guild, and talks about the jealousy induced by watching his neighbors play on a Slip 'n' Slide.

Click below to see the video of the two prolific funny men talk over coffee and while tooling around in Seinfeld's cherry SL.

Additionally, we've added a recent episode of the web series that you might have missed, and this time Jerry is on the West Coast at the wheel of a 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A. Powered by a 340 Six Pack, Seinfeld picks up standup comic Brian Regan.
